On April 26, 2014, The Peony Project hosted a one-time special benefit to honor Georgia Cord's memory and raise critical funds for the Lynne Cohen Preventive Care Program for Women's Cancers at USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Peony Project community raised over $300,000 at this one time event, and as a result, the preventive care clinic was renamed in Georgia's honor. The Peony Project's commitment to education and prevention, and its members' love for the cause and for Georgia, enabled this tremendous act of generosity, whose impact continues to be felt by many.
